New environmental metrology on VOC ozone precursors in ambient air

Introduction
Ozone concentration has been multiplied by 5 in the last century. In order to stop this global trend, Directives have been written to define the reduction of ozone precursors emissions and the compound list to be monitored. Regarding VOC, the European directive 2002/3/CE advises to monitor 31 VOC, automaticallyand 24 hours per day. The US EPA recommends to monitor 56 VOC in the PAMS program.
